Being too time-pressed to enjoy the big/elaborate campaigns that have been made by the community,
I'm looking for campaign mods that consist of small scenarios - meaning 10-15 units each side, similar in size to the tutorial's / AC's first scenarios.
Until now, I have only found Op Market Garden fulfilling this criterion.
Are there any further campaign mods like that?
Campaigns containing small scenarios?

Re: Campaigns containing small scenarios?
My WWI cmapaign has sizes of 20-25 units, similar to the vanilla campaign. It feels quite small compared to most other mods though.

The WWI campaign is indeed excellent and the core size still not too large. However, the scenarios from 1915 on become bigger and, even though the core stays about at 25 units, the are a lot of aux units to manage. That's a pity since new unit categories (fighter, bomber, tank) are only produced at that point in time.BiteNibbleChomp wrote:My WWI cmapaign has sizes of 20-25 units, similar to the vanilla campaign. I've just seen that Market Garden's second scenario also contains a lot of aux units. So even that campaign does not fulfill this criterion.oyh wrote:Until now, I have only found Op Market Garden fulfilling this criterion.
So up to now I have seen any campaign that is based on small scenarios. Apparently, all the other folks out there do not share that need...

Re: Campaigns containing small scenarios?
I tried making a campaign of WW2 with a core of 11 units, but with such small scenarios it is too hard to make balanced scenarios - they become super-easy or super-hard with as much as 1 unit.oyh wrote: So up to now I have seen any campaign that is based on small scenarios. I see that you treated them aux's (other than AHE ones) other than as they're designed. Most aux. units are meant for holding ground (in the trenches) - your core will be sufficent after that.oyh wrote:The WWI campaign is indeed excellent and the core size still not too large. Also, I've done big maps, but that doesn't mean they take forever. Glad you enjoyed it anyway.

However, In v1.4 I will be adding a bunch of scenarios to the campaign where you fight with the Ottomans, and those are going to be smaller than Poland15 and Verdun (by quite a bit). When that is released you should have a go at the Ottoman path. (Schlieffen -> Marne / Race to the Sea -> Gallipoli -> Ottoman Army (in the choice between that and German Army).
