Breaking the Etna Line

Is there something I am missing. I took all of the Victory points in 19 turns. Killed 65 enemy. Did not lose any engineers. Took the road to Messina in 19 turns and it still says I failed the mission.
The Victory Points star and the engineer star do not get the check marks, all the others do.

Figured it out. You have to literally kill all of the enemy before the last turn in order to win..
