Error accepting a turn

I had a problem yesterday(worked fine today), where I posted a challenge on the lobby, then it was taken. Now it was my turn to choose the map as I had initiative, but the game said something along "Could not write: \programfiles\FOG\start.tga" or something, I wasn't smart enough to take a screenshot of it. I had no such problems with 3 other games I posted at the same time. It's likely that the problem is with my computer(very old laptop) but in case it isn't, thought to post it here. Partly because I got the "redownloaded turn" email today when I successfully chose the map.

Thanks - its some issue writing out files locally and I have no idea why. If it doesn't happen again I would not worry about it.

I have just accepted two challenges and although i have successfully opted for a terrain i get the following message

Error. Sorry could not write to the file C Documents and Settings/ user / application data/ slitherine / field of glory/ startfog.fg

Any ideas?

I have accepted and fought another 2 games earlier in the morning and everything went just fine....

The only thing I can think of is either there is some issue with the file you are trying to overwrite (read only?) or its a hard drive issue. I guess it could be some weird permissions issue too but in this case it should fail every time.
