i would be concerned the troop commanders short range might be a little short with that many troops. perhaps drop the poor horse and try for another general?

Or drop the rgt guns, and make one of the superiors average, that would give you the 45 you needed.

I haven't played this anywhere near enough to know, but I was under the impression that "Regimental Guns" were 'gold'.

This isn't actually my list... it's one I'm putting together for a mate to fight my Louis XIV army. We're doing two armies at the same time - should be great... inspiration for painting etc.

Regarding the Swedish foot... would they be wearing the same uniforms as the League, or their own Swedish uniforms? Reason I'm asking is that we're going with the Venexia miniatures, so are limited...

I agree; if using troop commanders only, better with 4. Regimental guns are a points sponge, especially if superior; spending the same points on stands gives another unit, similar firepower and a higher break point- although my personal preference is to have one unit with them on a weaker flank in case you have to turn 90 degrees. The perceived wisdom is to use artillery in 2s because they live longer that way.
Swedes are obtainable from Dixon miniatures, though they are somewhat smaller. They have turnbacks on the coat.

Thanks for your responses all.

I guess it's going to be a few games to find out what is the best way to go.

I suppose 'slightly smaller' Swedes would be 'ok' as they are shorter in the north than the Dutch - correct? :)

Must be the diet, or the shorter winter days that causes it....
