base removal from shooting muskets

Post by hazelbark »

So this reads nearest base but obey proportional rule.

It seems when units appraoch obliquely, this is very finicky.

If the corner of your line is close to my center pike I lose a pike even if the musket is straight ahead.
And vice versa.

If I read that right. THe first loss to a BG is closest base. Not an option. not most numerous. THe proportional then really kicks in on the 2nd base loss.

Just double checking i have this right. Too many rule sets.

Unless Long range shooting by artillery only, yes you are right.
