I didn't like this game...can I have my money back?
I just never could get into this. It's too too beginner class I guess you'd call it. It's not challenging enough for me and I don't want or have time for multiplayer.
I don't normally ask for refunds but Matrixgames has been oblidging to me before and since they are your sister operation I thought I would ask.
I don't have to have the money back a credit would be fine. I'll probably put it toward FOG expansion module.
If not oh well just chalk it up to another wasted $41.99 on computer gaming. It wouldn't be like it was the first time.
I'm old and living on a fixed income.

I live on a very fixed income in that it is a disability pension, not something I can increase just by wanting it to do so.
That all said, I tend to need to spend a LOT of time on my purchases normally, or, if I make them impulsively, I expect to deal with the consequences.
How anyone can call this game 'too cartoony' escapes me, but then some people actually think RTS is real time too.
The idea that this game is beginner intensive, well maybe the fact it doesn't take a week to learn the interface might suggest it is easy, but to imply the game is itself an easy win, is just crazy talk.
Of course beating the AI gets you no applause at all. And if you never had time for multiplayer in the first place, then you reeeeeally need to work on your reading comprehension as it is so patently obvious this game is all about the multiplayer. The solo campaigns are really only there so you can occupy your time waiting for your opponent(s) next turn(s).
Next time you want to spend all your time playing an AI in a game that is massively complicated, stick to buying games like War in the East eh. And no, I don't care to hear your complaining about the price

Sometimes I wonder if this kind of threads are actually a marketing tool for the company to make forums a bit more active or something (J2D, unmask yourself!)
I mean, rattling nonsense from begining to end, so the only reasonable meaning I can find to it is the above mentioned.
Don´t waste your time trying to argue any reply to this guy, fellows.

Funny, I've bought a lot of bad games. But they can take away my BA over my dead body. Even in SP, the game is good, and I am a relatively jaded wargamer. Lots of campaigns available, talented modders working hard on them, devs that respond to their customers, can change every aspect of a unit in the CSV files, good editor. And yes, I find the AI a challenge most times.
So, not responding to the OP, just singing the praises of a game worth every cent.

Igor you've only played the first few scenarios so you are probably about 3-4 missions in to the Desert campaign. I think putting some more in to it will let you see how things develop and how good the game is. I think you were the person who was complaining there were no challenges available in multiplayer so it came as a surprise to me that you said you had no time for multiplayer.
