I am going to upgrade my OS or by a new computer soon. I was wondering in what order to install everything since we are at 1.2.8?
I think I have fog 1.1, ror, soa and will have immortal fire. (Matrix additions)
FOG how to we reinstall from scratch after patch 1.2.8?

True, there was an issue with the old RoR installer which we fixed very soon after first release so it would not be an issue. If you have the old RiseOfRome_1.1.0.exe installer then it is best to install FoG 1.0, then Rise of Rome, then patch to 1.2.8. After that you can add army packs as you like. The boxed version of RoR also has this old installer on as the disks are already manufactured. When we do a new print run this issue will disappear forever...
This might be a problem, as I remember RoR and SoA requesting specific game versions in order to can be installed, and would not install on a clean un-updated FoG.
The above suggested install it is not good: installing FoG, then patch 1.2.8 then RoR/SoA will cause overwriting of 1.2.8 patch files with older RoR/SoA files. I think at this moment, the best course would be to install FoG, then 1.2.8, then RoR+SoA, then (force) patch 1.2.8 again (IF it would permit a re-install over the "same" game version).
Are there any new RoR/SoA downloadable versions which allow a direct install over FoG v1.0, please?
ps: I mention I have the downloadable versions of all three of them (FoG, RoR, SoA)
