I guess the ability to set the monitor is still on the wishlist.
Same basic issue however more issues.
Different second monitor - now a 4K resolution.
Now when I edit the options.txt and use DisplayFusion to move it it overfills the screen.
I suspect it is looking at the monitor's font scaling of 125% and scaling the window which then makes it too big to fit.
Certainly reducing the values does get the right size.
Version 1.0.2.2
P.S. I could not find a sub-forum for support.
P.P.S. Please add the ability to disable the auto minimise when loosing focus.

Re: Multi Monitor Issues
We don't do anything in the code to make it auto-min when out of focus, so that must be something specific to your setup.
I've added in code to allow you to set DPI awareness on. This will work in anything W8.1+. This will be part of some future update.
I'll revisit the monitor stuff. I guess you have tried the GFXAdapt value in the options file? Start at zero and work up, and see if that changes the monitor that the game starts on. I don't think that is what it was for, but it's worth a try.
Cheers

Re: Multi Monitor Issues
It looks like the monitor positioning stuff wasn't turned on. It will also be enabled in a future update - you just set the GFXAdapt value to which monitor you want (usually this will be 1, if you have 2 and want the game to start on the second one).

Re: Multi Monitor Issues
None of the values upt to 3 for GFXAdapt made a difference. Is there documentation for this?
Also there is GFXFlags is there documentation.
As for the auto hiding from what you say I suspect this is default behavior of the graphics layer as most games work this way, though there are at least a few that give an option to turn it off.
I have returned a game that was doing this - I had problems and when I was looking for a solution it was still running minimised and when I noticed this there was little time before Steam's return limit to try a solution so I returned it - never even got past the settings screen.

Re: Multi Monitor Issues
As I said, the GFXAdapt stuff wasn't hooked up. This should be working in a future update, although I don't have a timeline.
GFXFlags isn't used by Kingdoms.
Hiding when losing focus isn't something I've ever seen on anything (unless, perhaps, running fullscreen on older games (DX7 and prior)). Could it be something to do with DisplayFusion? IIRC the game does slow down rendering when losing focus - is this what you mean?
