save game problem

Hello,

Last evening I began a Generalissimus 1939 campaign. All was well and I saved and closed the game during the Sedan scenario. When I returned to continue, there were no saved games for that campaign. There were .jpg files for each save, but the save files weren't there. Especially odd was that was I was overwriting previous saves.

This morning I went in to try again and the final Norway save appeared, but only the .jpg files for Sedan.

A very odd sort of save game behavior.

Does anyone know what happened and how to avoid it in the future?

Do you use autosaves or manual saves or both ?

Manual saves only.

I use both.
The Autosave is done at each start and at each end of the turn but is not specific to the scenario. I also make some manual savegames during the turn that allow me to replay the scenario.
