Light troops command groups

Post by Karvon »

This is something that has urked me for a very long time now.

I play a heavy infantry list with 6 to 8 light troops and they are frequently autodivided into 3 command groups. On the other hand, I play a list with clouds of lights available and often they are divided into just two. On a couple occasions I've had ALL of the lights put in just one! This is simply crazy and very irritating as you essentially end up having to move all those lights individually, a real time waster in the early stages of play.

The editor allows up to 8 commands per side. Why not simply give players 8 commands and allow them to divide there troops as they like?

A second suggestions: Why not add an option to highlight commands by color, at least during deployment phase? This would cut down on accidentally overlooking guys when sorting commands out during deployment.

My two cents,

Thanks.

The commands are as they are to allow autodeployment to work and so that the AI can respond appropriately in SP games.

You can of course highlight each command by clicking on a unit in the game. Colour coding during deployment is something we could think about.
