I hope I am not angering the powers by answering. As far as I can tell:

Galwegian Foot
Highlanders
Baltic Foot
Picked Baltic Foot

Note that these are all Medium Warriors, so they do well in terrain, but suffer extra negative cohesion in the Open against shock troops, and have a tendency to uncontrollably pursue fleeing foes.

so seems like only whales ,scotland and baltics are gonna get impact foot and in limited quantity i assume. i like playing with impact foot tho. do you think gameplay is more similar to wolves at the gates than for example vanila fog 2 rome ? Or is it something different

The game being still in beta, I don't know what I am allowed to say. So I will be almost as laconic as a Ancient Spartan. In FoG2: Medieval great base game, this is the heyday of the mounted knights.

Maybe if there is an Aztec Easter Egg army in the mix? Some Jaguar Warriors as protected Superior Impact Foot perhaps?

But otherwise, yeah, impact foot as modelled in FoG2 is not as prevalent in this period. In FoG2 you might notice that impact foot doesn't work super well against armored lancer cavalry.......which more factions have in this time period due to military developments increasing the ability of kingdoms and states to field dedicated shock cavalry. Bit of a nice intersection between history and game mechanics. I think you'll find that to deal with all the elite heavy armored cavalry units, you're either going to want more access to spears and heavy weapon units (and eventually pikes) to counteract them.

In fact the "Impact Foot" style of fighting (throw something then charge fiercely with hand weapons) largely went out of use circa 600 AD in western Europe, as seen in Wolves at the Gate. Hence, by 1040 AD the only ones left are wild fringe tribesmen/clansmen.

However, there will be others coming in other parts of Europe and the Middle East when the game gets there (Almughavars and Dailami).

They are very vulnerable in open terrain vs mounted knights, and consequently their points cost is reduced somewhat compared with Ancients. They are, however, great in rough terrain, especially against enemy crossbowmen, archers etc.
