Modding Campaigns

Post by Athos1660 »

Is there a way to have control over the average manpower points per army (in order to generally have either small or large battles, equivalent to choosing Force Size in the Skirmish mode) ? Via a few lines in CustomCampaignTools.BSF ?

I guess I found it, in Campaign.BSF one has to modify 100 and 6 (100 x 6 = ...) :

Code: Select all

SetCampaignVar("BaseProvinceValue", 100); // base revenue value of province in points
SetCampaignVar("SupplyMultiplier", 6); // Mutliply by province value to get the points worth of troops that can be supplied by the province.

(btw currently playing the Vanilla Pike and Shot Campaign with automatic initial setup, after having played exclusively Skirmish and historical battles since the beginning : this is a very enjoyable mode !!! It adds stakes.)

Indeed, you did a great job with the Campaigns imo : providing a background of conquest to the battles while allowing the players to stay focused on battle tactics. Thanks.
