It seems that if I win against Aristides, I'll probably have the gold, but if I lose, then not only will I probably drop out of the medals, but Aristides might get the gold. Div B will certainly have an exciting ending.

If we draw and I win my other two remaining games, I'll be ahead of you and '64, with the latter in 2nd place.

Normally, if the armies/terrian match ok, I don't like to stand off (MF vs. Kns etc. are an exception) but I have had quite a few opponents do just that even with better and/or even armies, so maybe I should be tempted... (however, I'm not the least bit tempted by what I really hope is my imagination playing tricks on me with one or two players in losing positions suddenly playing very slowly now there is a deadline... it's always easy to get suspicious, but then again there are a few unscrupulous chaps around on this planet...)

well, the Almughavars simply ignored the fortifications and chopped down the defenders as usual. Got to love those guys

Fedem Ord Burgundian 32/36 vs Swedish 34/34

Tough and intense before the Swedish made his last turn I was 23/36 but i made a mistake and some units ended showing their arse and that left me at 32/36.
On my last turn we barely made it. Thanks to a rear charge to a Light Arty unit. One more turn and it would have been a draw I think. My camp was going to be looted.

To give us a chance we parked our men on Steep Hills and after skirmishing a little we wait for the charge. That came strong and we barely made it. We loose our camp.
