The campaign ‘Master of the Sky’ is now available for download.
Short info about it:
6 missions
1943-44
You take over American bomber units and fly missions with them over Norway, Germany and Belgium-Netherlands.
Funny story about mass bombing of various objects of the Reich it seems, for some reason I lost the second map although I bombed everything marked with a red hex )

The submarine must be sunk.
And you also have to destroy the submarine )))) What will have to be replayed changing the strategy and tactics of bombing ) I was also given a prize unit, but it is a land forces, and we are important every aircraft and very lacking long-range fighter escorts to escort their fortresses )))) Also there are no pictures and it is not clear why for improving the B-17 between modifications require full 100% prestige payment ))))
The donated ground bonus units can be sold, they are not needed.
The equipment file from Pak-Mod was not changed by me this time, as well as the picture folder for the BigUnits, everything is original Pak-Mod.
The unit list in Pak-Mod is gigantic and I cannot add a picture for every unit that is missing.
During the campaign the escort fighters will have the ability to protect the bombers, but not at the beginning. That was the case in reality.

I don't quite understand what to do in the third map ) Also there are windows to withdraw your planes, but they are not repaired and not replenished with fuel and ammunition (
The targets in Trondheim and the destroyer must be destroyed, after which all own aircraft must be removed from the area via the EXIT fields by the end of the mission.
Primary targets are marked in red
Secondary targets where you can get extra prestige light blue
There is also extra prestige for destroyed anti-aircraft units, buildings or railway stations and trains etc. in almost every mission.

This information is all described in the briefing and at the beginning in the victory conditions in English or German. However, I am not familiar with helpful translation programmes that can translate during the game.

Ah that's the thing, deep in the rear there was a port and a ship there ) some of our brothers died but we bombed all the important points )
We all continue our merry go round bombing German concerns and infrastructure ) Now we're in for some exciting flights across the LA Manch ) According to the idea of such flights, a unit would take off from somewhere in Italy and after bombing it would fly to the USSR where it would refuel and receive new portions of bombs and fly back to Italy )
Toby my friend, what kind of aviation is good at destroying radars airfields and warehouses at the same time (I had no big problems with enemy aviation as we finally got a long-range fighter aviation)) And I somehow did not manage in 46 moves to bomb every bush on the ground as the enemy some aerodromes lowered the white flag and began to shine again swastika ? ))) Your mod makes it clear that it's time for the mod pack team to bring aviation to the right and proper order of prices and quality as well as modernisations ))
In the play test, Tony achieved victory between 40 and 42 laps. Me too. The German Luftwaffe was fought down in 15-17 turns so that the bombers could be deployed.
These need experience from the previous missions so that they can neutralize the airfields, the Ki is smarter here because it converts the flak into AT units and thus recaptures the airfield.
After the test I increased the number of turns to 46, the visual range of the fighters as well, so that they don't have to search too much for the last German fighters and finally I extended the automatic refueling for the fighters and thus the combat time over Holland-Belgium, so that the player doesn't have to fly back and forth so often.
That should be enough for a victory.

The most important thing is to neutralize the airfields and destroy the anti-aircraft units on the airfields. Only then, if there is still enough time, can you fight the secondary targets.

This time I flew and bombed better but still two hexes of the last aerodrome I couldn't bomb into the stone age so I lost but we will try in a month if I don't get bored I can do it with my eyes closed )))) https://pikabu.ru/story/vvs_nato_sokryi ... kh_4497185
Update: The mission “Bloody Sky” has been reworked by me. The player now only has to neutralize 10 airfields instead of twelve.
The “Master of Sky” campaign can now be downloaded and added. https://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=116729

So the furthest away you can not bomb ))))) I replayed the game and it seemed to me that Luftwaffe pilots are all tough aces, as well as anti-aircraft gunners ))) And it's debatable to organise a Dresden-type massacre here ..... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bombing_of_Dresden
I didn't change anything about the units themselves in the update, I just reduced the victory condition and the number of objectives.
You can also set the campaign to level “Easy” when you first play it to get used to the, shall we say, “unfamiliar”. It was also new for me to create a pure air combat campaign.
I'm not sure what you wanted to tell me with the reference to Dresden, but I don't need to read up on it, I know enough about it from the stories of my family members who experienced the inferno first hand and thankfully survived. I deliberately chose only the military operations for this campaign.

You could also try other tactics. For example, I bomb the flak first with strategic bombers and then I send tactical bombers to them when they are in AT mode, for example.
The “Bloody Sky” mission is probably the most difficult and unpleasant task in this campaign, I admit.
