Overall:
I honestly expected having to fight the Americans as well and was presently surprised that is one problem I do not have to worry about. The mission is not to difficult at this point when the player should have a very experienced core force with multiple powerful units to use. The timer is thought in a way that even a small group of infantry and a few artillery pieces can hold Salzburg well, while the mobile group does the escorting. It is also a solid "good end" as far as the historic branch goes narratively, since it establishes the way many German soldiers evacuated in a similar fashion and wanted to be captured by the Western Allies if possible. It also touches on the actual role of Rudel, who did partake in Kameradenwerk, but the actual role of that organization was not so noble as the events of the story, mostly war criminals helping other war criminals escape justice. I'd probably prefer that Galland was the one organizing the gold, or even it was Franco himself as part of some wat to thank for the contribution in the the Spanish Civil War...

Thoughts:
My ambitious goal of reaching one million prestige did not happen, but I guess it would not be doable even on the fictional route with the addition of the possible AO 1946 DLC, but if I got enough Legendary heroes and also made sure to deploy them in each mission, then some fortunate circumstances could allow me to do that. I can imagine who can reach that level with the right set-up. Still the final numbers are impressive, confirming the power of capturing units. I stand by my argument that the run would be more varied on the fictional route due to being able to battle with the British forces again, but the though times of having to deal with a limited pool of viable units and no overstrength possible made this one of the more interesting challenges I did, since the lack of parts for certain vehicles meant that I could really not be sloppy with my turn, making everything progress slower. This in turn meant that all the limits on the maps were a lot more difficult to meet and finally led to side objectives I was not able to do. Now time for some easier work again with Wunderwaffe, where the combination of absurdly powerful hero combinations and the fictional rout should lead to some easy, straightforward gameplay again.
