This is just amazing and outstanding. I have finished my mod of my equipment file and units (which is mostly a huge compilation of other modder's mods and their ideas used my way) and i have almost finished playing through all of the DL content. I will then let my best friend try it, and if he doesn't find any bugs I will upload it to the forum. I am on track with both work and PC to be available to help you beta test as I have all of the month of December off (due to comp days from working weekends). I could also help you with additions to the library, or proof reading the English versions?

In the annals and legend of Panzer Corps, I am certain Chris has established his right to "sainthood". Great works and sacrifice given with humility and generosity always make a saint don't you think?
Old Timer Panzer General fan. Maybe a Volksturm soldier now. Did they let Volksturm drive Panzers?

That would be really awesome Bob..I certainly need a helping hand with the library and..well ..probably any english text...
As well I wanna add some PzC East Manual and Games Concept Guide to the library so that everybody can read it while in-game.
So I would write the raw thingi and a native english speaker would have to rephrase it if neccessary so that it makes some sense :D

From OKW Diary:
May 1941...Army Group South deployment is in progress...
Panzer Group 1, 6th Army, 17th Army and the Slovakian Corps have moved into positions.
Army reserves consisting of 1st LSSAH, 13th Panzer Division, 97th,100th,101th Mountain Divisions and 168th,16th,25th Infantry Divisions
have moved into the rear area...
11th Army, 3rd and 4th Romanian Army, the Hungarian Corps nad Army Group Reserves and additional OKH reserves are preparing to move into their staging areas...
Intelligence reports that the russian deployment is gaining steam. By now an estimated 170 divisions have already been deployed. OKH thinks that time is of the essence now since in May 1941 another 800.000 russian reservists have been conscripted...

On April 7th,1941 General Halder wrote the following in his personal diary:
"The structuring of the russian troops makes one think. If I ignore for a moment the catchword that the russians would not attack us self-motivated, one has to admit that the russian structuring is very well enabling them to pass instantly over to an
attack formation, which would really cause us some serious trouble right now....."

Iam only exactly rephrasing the feelings among the german high command back then......
...a bit of a story around this thingi will spice up the whole thing a bit...

Ya Airborne, we had those ghastly USAF MAC indoctrination films with theme music that belonged more to porn movies... not that I've seen anything like that...
Wish we could pick our PzC background music like Chris and VP listed above ~ or some Ennio Morricone... or even "I've Been Working on the Railroad" from Kelly's Heroes where the Shermans attacked the German unit at the railyard :D

 ...but...this is not western music
the spaghetti westerns were great but their soundtracks can hardly be considered country/western music, could it ?

Army Group south has completed deployment
3rd and 4 th Romanian Army have moved into positions too
Pending operations are the Hungarian Corps, Romanian, Slovakian, Croatian, Bulgarian and Hungarian stock units, Finnish Army Corps and Finnish stock units...German stock units (AA mostly) , German Baltic Fleet and Air Fleets and Air Forces will be placed last.

OVERALL UNIT COUNT 289 UNTIL NOW

Oh..and just on a side note:
95+% of all Infantry and Tank Units have their real names and positions...
Overall about 90% of all ground units have their real names.
Rest 10% is owed to engine limitations to model more sophisticated unit compositions so I had to make use of artistic freedom

As well I finally got the UI to work the way I want it to work...
The vanilla UI aligned the unit names for the "hoover over" unit tooltip on the middle and the right
which looked very odd...
Now it works like charm..compare the stats boxes :D
oh..and sry..naming scheme will follow german abbreviations and naming convention...after all its the Wehrmacht.... :P
