Classical period

Games played so far. This is based on how many players are in each divison and how many games all must play.

So in Div B there are 12 players, each player plays 11 opponents and so there will be 132 games in total

Div A 70/110

Div B 39/132

Div C 100/110 - Congratulations to Solly as he will be promoted to division B next season

As there are a lot more players in these divison. Season ends on February 9th. Players wil receive 0 points in all unfinished games.

9. Absent Players & Neglected Turns

If you have the option to claim a game due to no activity from your opponent then please feel free to do so and report what the current casualties are if possible. Also don’t be too concerned about players who may have dropped out or are unable to play. It is obvious who they are by looking at the results table and at the end of the Season I simply award the game to their opponents unless they didn’t complete any games in which case I’ll remove their name from the list. If you sent 3 private messages to an opponent, including 3 message on the correct league link and there has been no response whatsoever, you can claim that game. If somebody has not moved at all for 1 month plus, you can claim that game as is allowed on the multiplayer system.
To make it easier for players to know they have received a challenge. Go to private messages, board preference, edit global settings and hit yes for everything. You will receive an email informing you of private messages.

Division C

Ironclad (Seleucid Successor) 37/39 vs George123 (Carthaginian Africa) 46/45

Close run thing, tough fight throughout with the Seleucid planned early breakthrough on the right only being achieved at the end! Good game.

Btw many thanks to Eric for arranging another enjoyable season of league hard fighting.

Whoops may have got this wrong.

Congratulations to Flatsix for being promoted to div B next season.

I may have jinxed Solly. Ironclad has 2 more games to go. 2 wins will possibly give him the final spot.

It is going to be a tense finish.

Cheers Ironclad

Now you've probably jinxed me: must be worth at least 3 points compensation. :)
