Re: Delta Units Revision Mod
There is indeed a problem with Pioniere 44 sound when they move on foot, it works properly when using truck or halftrack. And also other 44 infantry when moving on foot.
Actually Pioniere 44 infantry is tied to the Pioniere_43.png icon, in the Data/equipment.pzeqp file
then the Graphics/efx.pzdat file use this Pioniere_43.png as a reference, and entry seems to be missing for the various infantry 43 icons.
I will fix this next week as I need to make various check and also modify various readme files. I'm short on time this w.e.

Re: Delta Units Revision Mod
Many thanks. Looking forward to the fix.
Re: Delta Units Revision Mod
Downloaded your mod last week when I bought Panzer Corps during the sale and I am very much enjoying it so far. But today I ran into a problem: during the Greece scenario I encounter what appears to be a invisible enemy unit of some kind, and whenever I attack it or the AI moves/attacks with it my game crashes
I assume this is a bug caused by the MOD, but I would hate to have to uninstall and start over with my campaign.

Re: Delta Units Revision Mod
Could you please send a save file of the problem (zip it and attach it to your post), with more details on the supposed invisible units location.
Or maybe just post a picture of the problem, it should be good enough
thanks

Re: Delta Units Revision Mod
It is probably an "invisible" unit.
i.e. the scenario description put a unit on a hex but the unit in question have the wrong name in the equipment file( or a typo in the name), hence the game don't find the proper data.

Re: Delta Units Revision Mod
I think I could fix it quickly, for tomorrow evening
Re: Delta Units Revision Mod
I went ahead and took a screenshot, I wont have time to upload a savefile before tomorrow though. I really appreciate that your willingness to look into the problem right away, and I'd like to stress how much Im enjoying your mod, I havnt even touched the base game to be honest, I went looking for mods right after installing the game

Re: Delta Units Revision Mod
After the uploading attachment process, you need to activate the "add picture inline " button not sure it is the exact wording though.
If I remember only .jpg and .png are allowed, and <256kb

Re: Delta Units Revision Mod
Thanks for the picture.
Correction made, actually there is a Greek cavalry unit here. The problem comes from the fact that I used Mc Guba 'sBattlefield Europe equipment file as a base for my mod, instead of the equipment file from the base game. It was not strictly necessary as long as my mod was only based on the base game, but I thought it was better in case of future development making my equipment file also usable for other campaigns.
Instead of having only one icon for all western allies cavalry, there is no a separate one for most countries, including minor ones. Hence the game was looking for Western_Allies_Cavalry.png icon, whereas my equipment file referred to Greek_Cavalry.png. I corrected this, and also make sure all icons from the base game where also in my mod.
BTW, when I first tried to reproduce the error you mentioned, attacking the empty hex didn't result in a crash for me!
I'm surprised not to have catch this one during my playtest, as in most scenario I clear the map of all enemy units in addition to getting the victory conditions. Especially as this happens right away from the starting position.
I started uploading more than one hour ago, but it stalling around 95%
There is no problem in starting right away with my mod, as it is more a collection of various improvements, rather than a complete different approach. It is a bit harder than the vanilla game, but the vanilla game is pretty easy. Anyway you can adjust the difficulty after each scenario if you want to.
If you are new to the game you might find some useful tips in my guide for beginners:

Re: Delta Units Revision Mod
Thank you for the update. I've already started a campaign using the 1.1 version. If I install this update over the v1.1 will it cause any problems with the ongoing campaign?Delta66 wrote:V 1.3 is now available

Re: Delta Units Revision Mod
The new version only add stuffs, and I think there should be no problems.
However, be aware that the game loads assets at the start of the scenario. So if your saved game is during the purchase phase for the new scenario, that is on turn 0, the assets will allready be loaded.
I suggest move to the very last action of the last turn of the current (or previous scenario if you still have saved games)
Then save
Uninstall mod v1.1 with JsGME
Install mod v1.3 with JsGME
Reload save, and proceed to the new scenario.
