I'll be sure to take good notes while we're playing and put up an AAR after. Looks like the first run-through will be Friday the 28th.

My son, David, is 12 and been playing on the tournament circuit for a few years now (as many of you will know having lost to him!!!!!). His school have just started a wargames club, aimed primarily at WH. However he's borrowed my FoG rules and lists to see if theres any interest.

If the authors want an experienced 12yr old wargamer to help them out on development of something aimed at his age group I'm sure David would be over the moon to help.

Hardly a necessary comment, but getting the 12 year-olds into the hobby is one of the most important things we can do. Our hobby (historicals in general) is aging. I recruit 17-25 year-olds as hard as I can (for reenacting, too!) but the younger kids do have a certain glassy stare...

However, my daughter is enthusiastic. She's 4.
