New Laptop ASUS with Ryzen 7 and a NVDIA 1660 the game doesnt load

Post by HelgaMarie2888 »

I purchased the game at launch havent been able to properly play bc the game stops on the loading screen. I blamed my old computer. However some months ago I purchased a new laptop ASUS 16GB ram AMD ryzen 7 with a dedicated graphic card GeForce® GTX 1660 Ti and still the game doesnt load it freezes on the loading screen (besides when checking the graphics options the game asks me to lower the specs, like seriously? I can play even ESO at highest smoothly but not this old game?). Seriously what are all these bugs that are plaguing this game? Do we really need a NASA supercomputer to run the game or what?. After almost 2 years since the game was launched and still the game doesnt run properly on any normal computer?.
I recently purchased the spanish civil war, thinking maybe I might have enough luck to see the game WORKING. nah hasnt been the case. So maybe I should wait 3 more years get a new brand computer and check if the game is able to load and run or what?

I anguish personally for your disturbing situation at having major issues to get PzC2 to function!. Anyway... I have a computer similar to yours... it is 'Solid-State'... no moving parts, disk drives, etc... etc... and PzC2 on my Computer works perfectly. So!... below are the specs for you to have a look at... .

Device name LAPTOP-Q9N4J8SP
Processor AMD Ryzen 7 5800H with Radeon Graphics 3.20 GHz
Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.4 GB usable) and i've set up a lot of Games on STEAM for me to use... and have no issues with anyone of them. Not only that!... but Games that used to make my other computers run 'Hot... and the Computer 'Cooling-Fans go 'Ape-Berserk'... is just not happening at all anymore for me!!!'... with this particular model... which is even not the best one that they have available... it is having no negative issues at all!.

It's not the game. It's more than definitely your system.

You need to go through your drivers on both your Ryzen chipset and your Nvidia card. I have an old SSC GTX960 4GB and I have everything set on max and have no issues whatsoever.

For Ryzen, check out this article: https://www.tomshardware.com/news/amd-d ... pset-ryzen

Also, the 1660 ti has been a VERY problematic card. All you have to do is Google 1660 ti problems and there are pages upon pages of people having problems with it.

I would try uninstalling any Nvidia software you have installed. All of it. Then use driver cleaner pro to completely remove any and all Nvidia drivers. Then reboot the system and let Windows handle the initial video card install and see if that helps.
