hi just wondering if some 1 could give me some help with 1 of the campaigns its the 1 where you have to kill 300 of the slave army of spatacus but only take 120 casualties i have tried all sorts from all holding back and letting them come onto us and taking them out with archers and such to all out attack and still cant get any where near wiping them out b4 all my 120 men have died so any help i would be grateful

You know you can change the difficulty setting during the campaign? Or do you play on "easy"?

Once in desperation in the Roman Campaign, I tried fleeing with one division aorund the map. Cowardice I know, but... . It didn't work. My army was getting routed, and once my fleeing archers were the last division they turned and fought.

I ended up "winning" on my next attempt by using the terrain correctly.

I once did something even more desperate...it was one of the battles where you have to hold for a certain amount of time...my final solution was to keep my general on the other side of the map and once, after all my army had been defeated, the enemy troops tried to get my general but he was too fast and so i won

hurry finally done it now im stuck on next battle u only got 3 mins to win and can only lose 100 men it just cant be done its in the slave revolt

Yes, the Spartacus scenarios are all tough. I remember when the game was first released a few months back, we all posted here about having trouble with them, LOL.

For starts, why don't you tell us what your army is like?

How many units of what types do you have, what skills are you training, etc.

No need to go into exhaustive detail about the training, or your post will turn into War & Peace. Just give us a general idea

i have finally done the spartacus levels took blinking ages though never really been into these strategy games before in fact is only 2nd one i have played but getting to like them a lot now mite even try them again on harder level

Hey.

This isnt CoM? It's the first part of the game... hehe i know these scenerios are tough... im STILL stuck in 2nd ascension to venus

I have happen to have a desparate fight once to... I think that was the one of the spartacus scenerios aswell. Anyway, you could onlytake so-so many casualties. And you only hade a certain amount of time. and so i was fighting, almost almost sure i was gonna win. I hade like 4 groups of heavy infantry on 3 groups of light infantry in open ground, and there was like 90 seconds left of the fight, so then... I was certain! however, i looked down casualties and i saw like 10 every 4 seconds decreasing... And then, it stoped at 1 casualty aloud left! and 5 seconds later... I WON!

LOL! Pretty cool huh? I was laughing after the fight... I felt like i hade been struck by lightning or as if hade won the lottery or something lol...

Well that was my expierience... HEHE! Hope you all enjoyed it
