Camps

Post by Triarii »

Just for information and cross posting from a question on the main forum with apologies to the many who are, I am sure, way ahead of me - here is a tip just in case

To put an added pressure/tactical concern in custom scenarios I have used the carts image edited to become unit = baggage to represent camps.

As baggage they have no movement capability.

It makes for an interesting effect artificially increasing the army score that must be reached for each unit in the 'camp' but giving vulnerable units - easily broken if enemy troops get in amongst them.

How do i create a baggage or fortified baggage when i design a scenario?

That is worth victory points that i can input myself. So far if i try to manually change the victory points stat of a unit it reverts back to what it was beore, it does not change, any ideas?

So far i use one of the mob carts as a template but when i try to change the "Unit Type" to "Baggage" or "Fortified Baggage" it reverts back straight away to unit type "Mob", it will not change.

I found this forum post that baggage camps are a thing since Rise of Rome expansion, but i am still lost as to how to use them...
