Division F
ray552 (Galatian 62-25 BC with Roman 105-25 BC allies) defeats olddog52 (Thessalian 404-353 BC) 40-6
Close call in the final turns as the Thessalian cavalry broke through the Galatian/Roman left flank, but not in time to save their own center and left flank.
Thanks to olddog52 for the game.

Division C
Captainwaltersavage Assyrian 681-609BC defeats random27 Urartian 685-585 BC 48:22
The greater variety of Assyrian troops allowed for much more flexibility of tactics on the battlefield and the Assyrians won pretty handily with a combination of archery, heavy units and copious quality cavalry. I was able to outflank the Urartians quite rapidly on both flanks. The mirror match is headed the same way with the Assyrians kicking butt (just flanking one side, but expect a very similar score line. Great games both sides.

oscarius - Spartan 221-146 BC with Roman 280-220 BC allies (1600) beat kraff - Saka 300 BC-50 AD with Seleucid 166-125 BC allies (1600) 63 - 58
Certainly the closest match I can remember. To the final turn things could have easily gone differently due to a very scary late game comeback by my foe. Well played.

oscarius - Spartan 221-146 BC with Roman 280-220 BC allies (1600) beat IMC - Galatian 280-63 BC (1600) 52 - 26
My cavalry, with skirmisher and foot help devastated a solely cavalry flanking attempt by my foe. The main infantry vs infantry line combat was more even but the pikes and legions had the edge over the warband, especially when my detached infantry and cavalry showed up to reinforce them. Well played.
