Dialog boxes text only appear partially

Hello,

I upgraded the game through the control panel tahat is shown at the start to version 8.6.1.
The OS I am on is Windows 10 upgraded from Windows 7.
Below is a screenshot of the symptom :

This looks like one of the loading tips during the scenario load.
Never seen anything like it, but it looks like a grachical issue. Sorry, but this is probably on your end.
Anyway, it does not affect the game in any way. Purely cosmetical.

Same thing is happening to me as well. I haven't played since July, when I started up again the popup dialogs are often missing the text, as are the buttons to click.

Of particular issue is that the mission objectives screen has a missing chunk of text in it. This puts a serious crimp into playability. I re-downloaded the game and patched to current, no change (I didn't check before applying the update).

I haven't deliberately changed any machine configuration, other than applying windows updates. I did have a second screen on for a while, but rebooted and am only using the laptop screen, no difference.

I might have found a workaround. Or maybe only a temporary fix...

If I change the render quality to "highest", the missing text reappears.
