Game will not start

Post by Dasfox »

I purchased Field Marshall version. It downloaded fine and said it installed fine. It updated to most recent version. I rebooted computer after installation and went to menu and clicked to start. The opening menu came up, I clicked Play and nothing happens. I hit ctrl Alt Delete and it doesn't show any program running. Not sure what to do.

Windows 10 HP 4 Gig Ram 128 Gig drive with 12 gigs free.

ICould you please attach a DxDiag report file to your message?
How to get a DxDiag report file:

1. Click on "START" (on Windows 8/10 press “Windows key” and the “R” key at the same time)
2. Click "run" (skip this step on Windows 8/10)
3. Type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. Check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. Click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice
6. Attach the file to your message

I ran the diagnostic tool and saved the file. I went to attach the file and received this message: Invalid file extension: DxDiag.txt. I got the same message when I tried to send a word file. I tried to paste the text within this format and it was too many characters. Not sure what to do here. Can i post it to another forum or something?

I completely uninstalled the program and rebooted and reinstalled. Everything went through fine. But the play game didn't work. I could access the editor, manuals and other menu options but not the play button.

The issue is that you don't have a dedicated Nvidia or Radeon video card required for the game:

Try to allocate more memory (2GB) to the dedicated memory of your Intel video chip.

I had no idea this would be a problem. Are there any of your WWII games where this won’t be a problem?

It is an UnRealEngine issue, the 3D graphics takes a lot of GPU power.
PzC1 does not have this problem.
There comes a time on every project when it is time to shoot the engineer and ship the damn thing.

Can I purchases the game you are talking about and get refund on the game I bought that won’t work? Or can we just swap and I be credited with the difference?
