Besieger
I had access to several different units that had the "Besieger" trait. Do they all have exactly the same effect in a siege? I already had a stack of combat units that fit the frontage, so I just wanted the Besieger units to do damage over time during the siege. Are the cheapest ones as good as the most expensive?

Re: Besieger
Imperial Roman legions are better at besieging, so all are not equal, but you can read if they are in the tool tips.
There are 10 kind of hard problems in computer science, naming, cache invalidations and off-by-one errors.
There are also 10 kinds of people, those who understand binary and those who do not.

Thanks! Heavies are obviously better than Medium, but are they better than Latin Foot? It's rather vague. At least with skirmishers, the text says one is superior.

Except for the vague part where medium says heavies have a bonus they don't.

And I think the legions have a siege of 2, but I haven't played that much Rome.

Re: Besieger
You have two kind of units with the Siege Trait. First the Besieger and second as Defender.
A typical defender is the militia.
The maximum is +6 for Siege or Siege Defence.
