Red Star scenario question

Post by AgentTBC »

I've always thought the OoB series are the best games in the panzergeneral-type genre but I somehow missed that Red Star was released! Thankfully I saw Red Steel and picked them both up a few days ago, so I'm getting caught up now. Having a lot of fun playing stuff we haven't seen a lot of (Russa-vs-Japan, Winter War) and have made it to Barbarossa. Fast and easy question: Is the campaign structure here branching where a loss leads to a different scenario than a win, or does the game end if you lose? Just curious so I know whether to save my game halfway through the scenario in order to lose on purpose later.

Red Star has a linear campaign, Red Steel has few alternative scns depending on the outcome of the Stalingrad scn.
