Game Crashes After Selecting load "Poland North' Scenario

Post by benjohnson79_slith »

- A clear description of the issue. What were you doing, what happened when the issue occurred. Did the Unreal crash reporter appear and did you send it?

I was loading the game, selecetd new game / campaign / poland / poland north. It goes to the load screen then gives an unreal error popup and the game crashed. It was an unreal crash, yes i sent it (Crash details below)

- A Save File from when the issue occurs. These can be found either from inside the Cog menu in the game launcher or typically inside Documents\My Games\Panzer Corps 2\Saves.
Saves folder empty

- Any log files that the game has created. These can be found either from the Cog menu in the game launcher or typically inside Documents\My Games\Panzer Corps 2\Logs
Logs folder only has the following data:

Lite initialization,0.012376
Cache loaded,0.479447
Landscape geometry created,0.041199
Materials created,0.069924
Textures created,0.299426
Unit heights created,0.048366

- A screenshot or video of the issue would be even better!

This is the unreal crash info:

Free Space: 6.4 GB not enough space for a temp file and page file for windows 10, let alone space for games to use

solutions or advice,

free up some space on C drive first and try,

if that doesn't work, make sure all the prerequisites are pre installed for the game as per instructions.

update all drivers to the latest versions.

check your AV logs to make sure that's not stopped a process for the game from running.

install the game as admin and run as admin, plus make sure the game is using the dedi card and not the onboard one

Code: Select all

https://www.techadvisor.co.uk/how-to/pc-components/how-set-default-graphics-card-3612668/
boot into windows with only your AV and steam running so less background apps and programs, if any of these work, then something in the mix is stopping or blocking or conflicting with the game or memory is use etc
