PSP Version of Europe at War

Post by Danlisa »

Hello & Good afternoon from Cornwall.

I have a question but first let me say this;

Thank You! This is the first game for my PSP that has grabbed my attention fully. I am a huge fan of board games such as Risk and this title has brought my PSP back to life. Infact, I'd go as far as saying that this game type is what the PSP was designed for. Kudos.

To my question.

Do Slitherine or Publisher/Studio have any plans for a digital download version to appear on the PAL PSN Store? I ask because games like this are in the minority and I would love to see them become more mainstream by being more visible to the average gamer. If priced correctly, I would certainly purchase a digital version for my PSP (and by default, my PS3). I have no idea who makes the decision to make it available but I'm sure it would increase sales.

Thank you and thanks to the History Channel for making me aware of this title.

Thanks - glad you are enjoying it :)

There are no current plans to make it available over PSN. Unfortunately it's not as simple as just doing it - there are complex submission processes and approvals with Sony making it a very expensive and time consuming process. This is true of all submissions - that's why console games are so expensive to produce.

Hey, no problem. Credit where it's due.

Thanks for the answer. I loosely understand some of the 'hoops' Sony present for Studios & Developers and I can certainly understand if the process is too financially restrictive to make it feasible, so that's cool. I have my UMD. :)

Keep up the good work.
