So one thing which would significantly differentiate Panzer Corps 2 from OoB or Panzer Corps 1 is the claim that the AI does NOT play out to a set script and approaches each battle differently each time you play a battle against it.
That's a very intriguing and big assertion and if true - would make PzC2 very engagaing

A good scenario designer can incorporate such variability without too much difficulty.

So, basically its CWG2? Do you still ‘set up’ AI teams in scenario editor?
Klinger, you're dumber than you look, and THAT boggles the MIND.

If I'm not mistaken PzC1 also has dynamic/unscripted AI. Make up a quick random scenario with two opposing sides, without any scripting whatsoever, and the AI will make moves. Of course for more elaborate scenarios scripting is also available.

IIRC units in PzC 1 have a certain stance set in the editor, like offensive/defensive, mobile defensive etc. It's not split into AI teams like in OOB, but similar, just for individual units. Additional options to script things have been added in later patches.koopanique wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2020 7:09 pm If I'm not mistaken PzC1 also has dynamic/unscripted AI. Apart from that what I remember from Rudankorts post's is that the AI is driven by victory hexes, so offensive units seek to get there.
However, while scripting is playing a big role in OOB, it's also much more flexible compared to PzC 1. Obvsly I dunno about 2 yet.
