Doing a Burgundi game, so nowhere near the Med.... Macedon was doing great for a long time, but now they topped it :)

They are protector of Rome :)

On a more serious note.. why would rome agree to it? They have a fair chunk of land and their core territory?

Well, that's inconvenient. A 1% chance of Accept Client State or something?

Can't be 1% ... because there are 2 secrets values which are 'auto reject' and 'auto accept'. So that diplomacy is not about having a lousy or awesome dice roll.

They might have accepted to be a client state if in a dire pass, like (1) Macedon stronger, (2) they at war and losing

Yeh Macedon was kicking a$$ and chewing bubblegum :) so that's probably it...

Had set a goal for myself to capture rome.. think now it's gonna be to capture Macedon :)
