Britonae Heavy Cavalry not upgrading

Not sure if this has already been mentioned.....
Playing as Britonae I have paid for the heavy cavalry upgrade. I can now build the new model, but the existing units in my armies have not upgraded at all.
I have also paid for the heavy infantry upgrade. Is it WAD that the two types of Provincial Britonnic infantry, warriors and warband, which are heavy infantry, don't upgrade? They do start with very good stats and are unchanged after the upgrade.

Provincial units never upgrade... It is mostly an engine limitation, we would have to double all models for them.

As for your regular, national HC, that's weird. None have upgraded, only a few?

None of the heavy cavalry that was existing on the map before the upgrade have upgraded.
I have been able to build the new improved model though.
