Diplomacy
Really enjoying my first game, but finding the diplomacy system limited. How do I improve the relations with other powers? I can send cash, but what else? Every other option like cooperation is reciprocal. I can't offer trading advantage, I can't offer slaves, or a province. In my game I am producing far more metal than I can use. I am sure those Scythians would love some of that but the game won't let me give it away.

There is a fairly common Decision that lets you convert excess Metal to either Manpower or Money.julianbarker wrote: ↑Sat Jul 13, 2019 10:20 pm Really enjoying my first game, but finding the diplomacy system limited. Diplomatic insults can sometimes help boost relations. If you insult a nation that another nation really really hates (-50 relations) OR is at war with, you gain relations with the latter nation.

Re: Diplomacy
yes it would be a good idea to be able to exchange
we would put x slaves and we would have an equivalent in gold or iron
or the opposite
of course the amount would be better if we have a good relationship

The metal decision only works on large blocks of metal. So a blunt instrument.jimwinsor wrote: ↑Sat Jul 13, 2019 11:08 pmThere is a fairly common Decision that lets you convert excess Metal to either Manpower or Money.julianbarker wrote: ↑Sat Jul 13, 2019 10:20 pm Really enjoying my first game, but finding the diplomacy system limited. Hadn't appreciated the use of Trump diplomacy. Thanks.
