Aggressors - Playing The Game!.

I have been playing this GAME for quite a few hour's, and I have to say that it is quite good!, I enjoy playing it... "So"...Therefore... I recommend it!.
There's somewhat of a learning-curve involved before you can really begin to master the Game, before you can really start to play this game in Confidence and to your Satisfaction.
There are, however some Game-Adjustments that I would like...and...'If only I could recall them all right now?"_ Perhaps later on!. But!...For now, to begin with...
***An Option to press a Tab (Could be represented by Magnifying Glass Icon?) of some sort to Briefly Enlarge a 'Pop-Up-Box' or the other written or scribed fixed boxes on the Game-Screen...where then I could perhaps then 'scale-up' the size of the 'Pop-Up-Box' by means of using my 'Mouse-Wheel' so that I could finally set it to a SIZE that I find it easy to read the information or message.
***I would also like to be able to change or redo/re-enter the Name of a City...especially if I entered it incorrectly the first time...and now the Name of the City is unintentionally Set/Fixed permanently!(Right now I am unable to Change it). The same goes for when the Game is first started and the player enters the name of his Empire. I again had the same issue, and would have appreciated a way to Undo the entered name and now be able to Change again it if I want too.
***Land-Owner-Ship_ I noticed that when my "Confederation-Ally" attacks...for instance a Carthaginian Invader on "My land" and is successful in destroying him, my previous property now becomes his???...How is that???. This is especially disturbing when for instance it's your Gold-Mine.
~~~Now on the Converse!, when I'm on his territory...pushing back the boundaries of his adversary into the Enemies territory...I am now expanding or making his territory larger!, "How is that???".
- - - There are possibly a few more of these "Quirks" that I have dealt with, but they are not coming to mind at this moment. Anyway that's it for now!.
No!, that is Not-All-For-Now!.
When I try to "Start" the Game, all I see is an Endlessly Long Blank Screen!. The Game is not loading up???. To force the Game to 'Load-Up', I first have to do a "Check For UPDATE". Once the Update-Sequence has been completed, then the Agressor's-Game finally will load up for me.
Can this Fester be rectified?.
Hi Retributarr,
thank you for your post. Let me answer these points one by one.
In case of your gold mine - it simply seems like he was the owner of more tiles around and it was logical that this will assigned to him (especially when he reconqured it). It is always about ratio of tiles around (+1 point for that player who actually conquered the tile).
We are really trying to figure out what is the problem but we havent been able to reproduce it on any of the available machines we have.
Thank you!
You can change the name of your city and even country anytime you want. Just click on the name of unit/city in lower right corner (or your country name in the lower left corner).Retributarr wrote: ↑Mon Sep 10, 2018 8:59 pmI would also like to be able to change or redo/re-enter the Name of a City...[/color][/b]especially if I entered it incorrectly the first time...and now the Name of the City is unintentionally Set/Fixed permanently!(Right now I am unable to Change it). This is all based on the calculation who owns more tiles around. It is the only possible solution which makes sense. Once one of the confederation countries takes over a tile, it looks around who is the major owner of those tiles around. If it is another member of the confederation (or federation) it is given to him. Just imagine what would happen if you help you confederation ally state and instead of giving him the tiles you conquer on HIS part of the map you would take them yourself. This simply doesnt make sense.Retributarr wrote: ↑Mon Sep 10, 2018 8:59 pmI noticed that when my "Confederation-Ally" attacks...for instance a Carthaginian Invader on "My land" and is successful in destroying him, my previous property now becomes his???...How is that???. I am not sure I understand what you are asking for here. You want the UI to be bigger? If so, we just implemented UI scaling which you will definitely find useful. It should be very soon available on Steam or if you want it straight away, please opt-in for Steam beta branch where UI scaling is already running - UI scaling including 4K monitors (clickable). It is currently in beta branch but it should be in the official branch next week. You can see the difference in Screenshot section (clickable) If you have Slitherine standalone version, the update should be available soon as well.Retributarr wrote: ↑Mon Sep 10, 2018 8:59 pmAn Option to press a Tab (Could be represented by Magnifying Glass Icon?) This is an issue that someone already reported here. We havent been able to sort this out yet. Would you please mind to help us? Can you turn off your internet connection right before you click on the "update"? We want to know if it actually downloads something or there is some kind of bug in the launcher...? If you turn off your Internet connection, click on update and it starts the game correctly, it is clear that we are dealing with some kind of launcher bug.Retributarr wrote: ↑Mon Sep 10, 2018 8:59 pmWhen I try to "Start" the Game, all I see is an Endlessly Long Blank Screen!. Nein!,Nyet!,No!,Non!,Nicht!!!......What I am Seeking is some-Kind of "Tool/Instrument" that can be Utilized in the Game to Make the "Tiny-Tiny Print and/or Scaling" of the Messages & On-Screen Information 'LARGER', There-by much more easier to Read!.
Yes!,...I turned off the internet, the update program was unable to carry out an update and then following that... I started the game, it loaded up right away...even faster than it regularily does. No-Problem with starting the game with the Internet off.
can you please keep your replies in black and white and the same size, altering the fonts and colours make it no easier to read or understand, just makes it look odd and colored, which then puts most off from reading, only complaining about it
At this moment the only way to make the whole UI larger (Inlcuding text and boxes, all of them) is in the settings menu. You can set scale UI to 150 or even 200 % (or less if you want smaller text and boxes).Retributarr wrote: ↑Tue Sep 11, 2018 3:57 pm In Reply too... pavelk » 11 Sep 2018 08:07 ..."I am not sure I understand what you are asking for here. You need to have the last patch for it (Via Steam automatically downloaded, via Slitherine via your game account).
As "Gomer Pyle" would say on the ''No time for Sergeant's show"...'Thank you!, thank you!, thank you!'.
?How hard was that to give a 'simple' straight-forward solution to a vexing irritating situation!'.![]()
Thank's again!...Cablenexus
