Current Bugs - Version 6.1.9

Below is a list of current bugs in the latest version of OOB - 6.1.9. This is my own list; it is not official nor necessarily comprehensive. I am offering it only to be helpful in that some things may be overlooked in a busy Tech Support forum. If I have missed an issue that you consider important, please feel free to post about it in this thread.

Here is my list in no particular order of importance:
No reward for saving the 6th Army

A minor thing but in Panzerkrieg/Voronezh if you do the unthinkable and kill the Night Witches with their cute commander, you still get a black image in popup event. The image is event_witches_killed but it should be event_night_witches_killed.

A (minor) bug with playing/adding custom music files in mods:

You can use custom music in your mod, if the filenames are also included in the vanilla \music folder, eg. "germany_1_1", "germany_2_1" and "germany_3_1". You can't add any new filenames for Germany (or other factions) in your mod folder.

Workaround: If you put a blank file, eg. "hungary_1_1", in the vanilla folder, then you can also use that filename in your mod with the real music file.

Should be an easy fix IMO.

Just played a bit of Winter War. With the artillery modifications introduced for Panzerkrieg (dropping efficiency), getting that secondary 40 damage in 10 turns for Eastern Karelia is quite hard. Too hard. Also, the captured Russian arty cannot get transport and is thus mostly useless.
I think that was reported several times already, but it is still there.

Although the objective markers point to all four VP, the wording could be misleading, it's true. And two of the required capture points even have secondary VP markers (silver flags).

I don't know where is the bug : in the objective description or in the trigger ?

Not a bug, but a slightly annoying behaviour.

Open the Force list in 'All alive' or Deployed tab and update a unit.
Note that the tab switches to the 'Display reserve units' tab. Every time you update a unit...
It would be better to just go back to the previous tab.

Good question. I think the triggers are working fine, it's the outer design that needs fixing. Maybe each "major crossing point" is considered to consist of one silver VP and one gold VP (?) :wink:

Although this affects only a few people, I think the "propellor" animation for new models should be fixed.
It's listed as an official feature but obviously ain't working right, as reported e.g. here by the Admiral and tested by myself, too.

Recently I play in Blitzkrieg again and the Italian army in Albania is inactive during Greece 41 scn.
This problem was solved some time ago but I've noticed it this time again.

This is re the Voronezh objectives:

It's WAD that the player has to take the 2 gold _and_ the 2 silver flags (the latter were not required previously).

The main goal of the operation (in military terms) are the river crossings. The silver flags have been added (for gameplay reasons, to avoid ppl ignore parts of the map).

Have never encountered abovementioned "bug"...played twice (version 6.1.8 and 6.1.9 non-Steam and Steam) from the beginning till the victory :)

This game isnt for modding community - every questions remains unanswered - so we have to wait for the next upcoming PC2 for a new modding community.
