If you don't know either, googling "Over the Reich" should show you a turn based game with tiny planes shooting each other.
There was a later sequel called "Achtung Spitfire".
Check Your 6! seems similar, but without using a separate map for combat. Let's see, I will be watching this.
I don't know the boardgame, but "Over the Reich"

I have both Achtung Spitfire! and Over the Reich, unfortunately they are Windows 95 only. This game reminds me of a very old Milton Bradley game called Dogfight. I still have a little green British biplane. There were also red German planes, 6 for each side. You used cards such as "barrel roll" and "loop" to attack.

The best ever BoB board game I have ever played was a free game that came with tokens and a map that I had to cut out that came in the Battle or Victor comic or something like that in the 70s - it was a great game. Cant remember anything about it though now but I remember it being a really good game.

Re: I don't know the boardgame, but "Over the Reich"
i used to play Yaquinto's boardgame "Wings" (which was of WWI aircraft{& Zepplins!}) and Nova Games "Ace of Aces" series, so when I saw the details of "Check your Six" on Steam I had to have it, so bought it.
So far I've only played the tut (a few times) and scenario one (single player) but THIS I WANT TO KNOW.
Will there be expansions (maps, scenarios, aircraft- Do335 Pfiel for example)?
Can the game engine cope with greater speeds altitudes and weaponry?
Will a separate game in the same series be necessary?
Used to play Lucasarts Battle of Britain and SWOTL as mid-level difficulty sims, too

This is crazy; I was just playing Achtung Spitfire! a few minutes ago. Another great game and I wish someone would remake is 5th Fleet.
