Hmm, I'm playing 2.9.6g and your save game moves me on to Fall Rot correctly. Even with German language.

Are you using Steam or Hotfixed installer wolfpenguin?

Can you try re-applying this? There was an error in the German Localisations that didn't make it into this particular hotfix set
