Paras at sea

Para units may still land at sea and attack. This was reported in the BlitzKrieg beta.

Testing a custom Norway scenario, noticed that several AI land fortresses were happily shelling German sea transports in the Oslo fjord.
Is this an intended change?

I would not mind being able to switch between the coastal battery and fortress unit. Many installations were capable of this as long as they had the correct ammo (which were missing in Singapore BTW).

Fortresses have always been able to fire at ships. They were used in one of the final Australian scenarios in the Rising Sun campaign.

They deal less damage than Coastal Guns though.

Will look into the paratrooper bug. Thought I fixed something like that, but it appears not!

EDIT: Right, this can only happen if the target hex contained a hidden enemy unit. Fixed now.

Heh, it shows how much of a fanboy that I am getting to be with this game. As long as the paratroopers land within one sea hex of their land target, I would be willing to allow in my mind's eye that they had landed in the surf and were wading and fighting their way to the beach! Help me, I'm becoming a fanboy!
