Pursuers making contact with new enemy step forward?

When pursuers make contct with a new enemy it is treated as a charge. Does this include the step forward of 2MU?

Certainly. See diagram P. 101.

Thanks for the reply. I seem to have read the rules so many times but am still missing things. Maybe it's my age. However, I am taking comfort from knowing that we were still finding things in a previous rule set after several years of playing.
