"Could not initialize game. Background applications, particularly security and antivirus software, may be preventing Pandora from working normally."

Pandora release Rev 1.32 - with Norton Internet Security 21.3.0.12
Prior failure was failure to find PandoraServer.exe - NIS flagged it via it's Sonar Heuristic 120. I added Pandora.exe, PandoraServer.exe and PandoraUpdated.exe to it's allowed list and now get above failure.

I tried disabling NIS live anti-virus scanning and Sonar as well, but same error.

I believe I've been running 1.32 for over a week, so it may be a recent change on NIS side.

Looks like antivirus sandboxing from the logs.

You might want to report it to Symantec: https://submit.symantec.com/false_positive/

Thanks for the tip, Rok. I heard back from Norton that they had been flagging PandoraUpdater.exe, and have excluded it in the latest update, which I pulled and I can get into Pandora and start-up a game again.
