[BUG] Mission component detail screen loads very slowly

I have not seen this one before 0.7.17.

The "mission component detail" screen (the one appearing after end of turn to show R&D component progress) loads very slowly in this version. The screen appears, but it takes another 10-20 seconds for it to become operational. If in this time the player clicks another component to highlight, nothign will happen. It seems like the screen already displays, but is actually still "loading" in the background and remains unresponsive.

This seems to occur always if there's more than 1 component being researched.
