Protected artillery

Post by Evamike »

Sorry if this has been covered but I cannot find anything.
When Infantry are in rear base contact with deployed artillery. Any one charging the artillery fights the infantry on the front line of the artillery. So the Infantry are assumed to be in amongst the artillery. Question is can you choose which one fires? i.e. do the gunners get out of the way when the range becomes close.
Mike.

It's on P126, top bullet in the right hand column: "files actually providing rear support cannot shoot". So, in this case, only the artillery can shoot.
