PBEM accidentally switched sides!?

Hi there,

I'm trying out BA multiplayer for the first time. Something really strange happened to the game state.

I found a random open game and accepted to play as axis forces on the German invite map. Now, suddenly, in turn five, I'm (repeatedly) seeing a non-sensical replay of the German (!) forces, and then I am given command of the allied forces. I can suddenly see all their previously hidden units, and I can see none of the German units not in sight of allied units anymore. I started as the German player!?

Further, there are allied units alive that I destroyed in the pervious turn. How come?

This is on an iPad 2 with the latest versions of iOS and BA, and without any jailbreak or anything like that. What's going on?

PS: RabidRabbit, if you see this, I'm sorry for not moving anymore, but this is really screwed up right now.

There is a bug where it is possible to save your turn to the server during the replay process, which causes this kind of issue. Could that have happened? Otherwise, it seems to be a hard to pin down issue with the server, sometimes caused by heavy load.

If you can leave the game untouched for now, I can download it and try and work out what happened.

I did not intentionally save to the server during replay, but maybe my opponent did? Or maybe the iPad did when the lock screen came on? I don't know whether this happened, but it seems that it should not cause a problem either way.

Anyway, I'll leave the game untouched. Thanks for looking into it.
