Ok people, those of you not blessed with an iPad (or curse with an iPad snicker), might wish to know, I just finished loading it up on my Asus eepad Transformer without issues, or rather it was running via Splashtop from my laptop with seemingly no issues.
But as I have not yet forced myself to sit still long enough to learn basic controls yet (head ache will do that), I can't give a more comprehensive report than to say, if you own a non Apple tablet and are using some form of Android, you might have access to Splashtop (it was part of my already on it software eh). Found under My Cloud on your interface normally (I think).
Anyway, this is an option and thus, it pretty much makes it plain, a lot of us wanting to know, 'will it be coming to tablets?', it's already there (unless you are only blessed with an iPad snicker).
So chime in with your reports on use on them if you can do so before I get the chance.

Re: Tablet usage report
I have no clue what you just said - since I don't have any of those things you talked about . . . . except for the head ache . . . . . But this is sounding like a really good thing.

Thanks for the report

Hehe
The short form (I am not known for being brief though). Splashtop is software that can stream whatever you computer is doing to a remote device ie tablet computer.
Think of it like a remote interface. The tablet doesn't install anything, the game was never on the tablet. It is just a display device. This can even be done out of home from a distant location via the internet over wifi. The home PC must be on though. Thus, I can leave the house, with the laptop running, and sit in Tim Horton's drinking my hot chocolate and play my game on my remote device (my Asus tablet) as long as I have internet access (and a data plan worth mention of course
).
Response time will likely depend on so many typical variables like always. Quality of the service it is going over, and specs of the device. My trial was within 5 feet of my laptop, but it was all over wifi not physical connection.

Re: Tablet usage report
I figured it was something along those lines. Yes, I suppose there “could” be a bit of game lag depending upon all kinds of factures though. but very good to know this is possible.

So it's through some kind of remote desktop interface?
Those are also available for iWhatevers, but not always suitable for gaming due to lag. For a turnbased game that shouldn't be much of an issue though, as long as it ports audio through as well.
