Scoring System
The scoring system has been set to be 32-0 to work with the existing technology. It was developed for Roll-Call and rather succesfully applied there.
It is the latest version that lawrence tweaked on the thread on this site. I will get it altered on the BHGS site details as soon as James has confirmed that he has the last version - but it is 95% as published originally - just tweaked a little.
Entries
In terms of entires we now have 27 in total. I have only 4 who have not yet requested lists as far as I am aware - but please correct me if you have and I missed logging them somehow. These are
Mark Taylor
Steve Sykes
Matt Poole
Roger Greenwood
I am away on Saturday for 6 days so it would be wise to request any lists before then chaps. 18 other players are actively considering their options, and 5 have actually committed themselves for far. And a good spread of armies have come up including....
Nah that's a secret of course!!!
Still room for a few more if anyone is interested. I have a spreadsheet format that I find useful that anyone can have by return. It even contains the army I will be bringing if we are odd numbered so I can make up the bye so that veryone gets a game. ANCIENT BRITONS. And no I will not wearing a dress and padding!
List Deadline
I need lists to me please by morning of Saturday July 28th please. I shall be checking many a list on that day. That is an extra day for you on the two week deadline so please hit that date for me. If you miss that date then don't be surprised if you are asked to make changes very late in the day as my next checking day is likely to be a full 7 days later - so it is in your interests to hit the first one.
E-mail address is
siathedgecroft@aol.com lest anyone doesn't have it. If you don't have e-mail, you won't be reading this, so no need to put my address here! If there is anyone you know who hasn't access then please e-mail on their behalf.
Rules
The rules to be used will be the last full circulation form JDM - vs 6.0 - along with the official updates on this forum as have been posted by Richard at the time. We do not anticipate any major tweaks between now and the event - just the odd word tidy here and there.
Here's to a great event overall and to the FOG comp - thanks to all of you for entering. I am looking forward to it very much.

PS Please note there is an event at around 5pm on Friday well worth attending..... Ron Challen is a chap who actually worked for Eisenhower and knew most of the WW2 allied greats. He is an elderly man now, but a fascintating person to meet. He will be showing a DVD of his and answering questions on Friday afternoon. He will also be guest of honour on the Sunday giving out the WW2 prizes. Please come along and listen before tucking into the big games later - let's be honest the odds of not finishing an FOG game in the long time available is pretty low!
