I was suprised that the Tigers have the mobility of 5, just like all the other tanks. I think it should be 4. It has a small range, which is ok, but I think the mobility needs to be adjusted too. I know that everyone was waiting for this unit, but the Tigers wasn't a perfect weapon ( much better in the defense than in the attack ), so it would be nice if the game reflected it somehow.
I hope something was done to reperesent the limitations of the first Panthers - it's suggest for the version D, a very limited range but maybe higher mobility than the Tigers.

Re: Tigers mobility
With the Tiger II at 4 movement, and the Tiger I already having very miserable fuel total, I don't think we'll bring the Tiger I down to 4 movement. Depends how the Tiger does throughout DLC 1943 and 1944, these are the most important years for the Tiger and Panthers, and tweaking them just right is important.
That means both not too strong AND not too weak.

Re: Tigers mobility
Good call, the Tiger I was actually a pretty reasonably fast tank. It definitely doesn't deserve to be as slow as the Tiger II.
Check out this article for a fun read and some good facts on the Tiger.

Re: Tigers mobility
I meant just the general mobility and maneuverability, no only speed. But I understad the general idea;) If the Tigers II have their movement down to 4, then it's fine with me.
Very interesting link BTW.

Re: Tigers mobility
Just fyi, in my Single Player Unit Rebalancing Mod, I made the Tiger about 50% more expensive, reduced its ammo to 6 and its fuel to 24, but upped its HA from 17 to 19. It' should now be a terrifying weapon on defense, but it will stall out when attacking, and it is super expensive too.ivanov wrote:I was suprised that the Tigers have the mobility of 5, just like all the other tanks. I don't play the beta DLC with that though, as I want to provide input under the same conditions as everyone else.

Re: Tigers mobility
Well,
in fact the Tiger I was still quite maneuverable, so I wouldn´t make too slow. The story with the Ferdinand/Elephant, the TIger II and the Jagdtiger is something completely different, but the Tiger I was not as static as it is told by some sources. Internal reports from Tiger commanders revealed that they found their tank to be quite agile, so I´m happy with the way the tiger works now.

Re: Tigers mobility
so if you have a mobility 5 but low fuel its ok, but when the tiger will have movement 4 will it have the low fuel too?
