The progression of the DLC campaigns follows a Tier system.

The first map of DLC 1941 will probably be easier than say... DLC 1940 Arras or Wassigny.
The hardest map of DLC 1941 will be harder than the hardest map of DLC 1940.
The start of DLC 1942 will be easier than the hardest map of DLC 1941.
And on and on the system goes.

As for being dynamic, well that is fully in the player's control. When they choose their difficulty setting, they change the dynamics.
Even more then that, how each scenario is played also responds to the player. Gathering minor victories may result in easier scenarios. We explored this idea in DLC 1939 with Danzig South and North. If you got a DV on Poznan, you went to 'harder' Danzig South. If you got a minor victory, you went to 'easier' Danzig North. So there is flexibility and dynamism there.

Players who are struggling with the DLC campaign should find that they can achieve minor victories and not damage their overall campaign progression. This is a change from the default Panzer Corps campaign, where minor victories will damage or possibly destroy overall campaign progression (cant get to USA) They continue on relatively the same path as the decisive victories, except they do miss out on things like bonus captured units and bonus scenarios.

I guess I am hoping for 1941 and beyond scenarios to have missions so hard that they are truly unbeatable on Manstein, like even MV would be really hard. Basically the Spoils of War model.
20 Strength KV1s await, I *will* break you!

And actually Spoils of War is beatable, it's just not exactly 'fun' and your core pretty much gets gutted.
When I play 1939 on Manstein, I have a full core and roughly 2000 prestige saved up by the time I get to Spoils of War. After Spoils is done, I'm down to double digit prestige and several empty core slots.
Very much a Pyrrhic victory.

As for Oslo, I'm surprised. What do you do with your aux paratroopers? I drop them directly on top of the Oscarborg (there's that one open hex on the coast) and sacrifice them and that destroyer to buy time for the Blucher.

Oh man, I would *LOVE* alternative history campaigns. Like the aforementioned Invasion America campaign, or Sealion or even an alternative 1938 campaign involving an invasion of Czechoslovakia. There are a ton of interesting places that you could go. I think it would really give the team a chance to flex their creative muscles.
