Any chance we could have a rewind feature?

Post by Horvo »

I have found that if I have a number of multiplayer games going, or if there is a gap of a few days between turns, I forget a lot about the tactical situation. (Where enemy infantry were hidden, which squares I've already flushed out, etc.) It would be a tremendous help if I could view my last turn, and then my opponents turn. Is there any way a rewind feature could be added so I could just view my last move as well? Thanks

I'll add it to the wishlist. It is a pretty large amount of work to be honest, as we would need to store it seperately to avoid bloating out the MP turns. But I can see how it would be pretty cool.

If you can display what happened at the beginning of the player's turn once, why not in a simple replay? No more storage, and it helps those of us without an eidetic memory, or subject to outside distractions.

Because I believe we are talking about going back more than the last player's turn? Which means basically storing all the prior turn to allow us to play it back before the 'normal' replay. Or perhaps I have misinterpreted it?
