I inserted the disc but the game will not start to load at all...What could be the problem?

I have the download version so can only guess for you. Other games that have done that is because the file is large and it takes a long time to read before it does anything. Anti virus can scan it first and that can slow or freeze it.

Try viewing the drive and see if you can copy an exe over to your computer and run the exe.

Double click My Computer then on the window that opens double click the drive that the cd is in.

Hi,
I tried your suggestion and all that happens is the drive light blinks on and off. Gamr does not start to load.
Any more help would be appreciated.

What are the files on the disk you have? Where did you buy it from - we can narrow down the version from this?

I bought the game direct from Slitherine

You should be able to right click on the CD drive that the game is in and choose Explore. This will list the files on the disk. You should then try copying the contents of the disk to your hard drive and see whether that works.

Have you tried the disc in any other machine to confirm it is not the drive?

Have you tried any other media in the drive to confirm it is not the drive?

Need to ask as you would be surprised what my computer repair friend tells me some days
