difficulty downloading

Hello,

I am having trouble downloading FOG digital 1.3.3

The first attempt indicated it would take 11 hours.
Two subsequent attempts said it would take 2 hours but they never finished. One file completed at ~400 Megs and appeared incomplete.

Any advice?

1) If you are connecting using wireless then try using a wired connection to the router. This is usually much faster and is much more reliable for large downloads.

2) If unable to make a wired connection then place your PC next to the wireless router or at least as close as possible. Wireless signals degrade rapidly over distance.

3) Slow wireless is a particular issue if you are on an Apple Mac as some Mac wireless software in some has an annoying habit of timing out on large downloads so doing (1) or (2) should solve this.

Download times can vary but our office here is in a semi-rural area with 8Mb broadband. The 1.3.3 download takes abouut 20 minutes.
